MESSAGE FROM THE LEADERSHIP
At Manu, we are committed to achieving business success through responsible environmental and social practices. Our evolving ESG strategies are designed to meet the expectations of our stakeholders, regulators, and the global community. The key initiatives include implementing an energy conservation policy, raising sustainability awareness through on-site displays of the UN SDGs, and showcasing a campus climate clock that counts down the time remaining to a 1.5°C global temperature rise, serving as a constant reminder of the urgent need for climate action.
In 2019, we began our carbon footprint assessment, marking the start of our journey toward carbon reduction. We are working toward achieving our target of “net zero” emissions by 2030 through energy conservation, increased renewable energy use, and resource optimization. Our commitment to the UN’s 1.5°C Business Ambition Goal is our contribution to climate action and a pathway to long-term value for our stakeholders and future generations.
Sustainable water management is woven into every aspect of our operations, ensuring this vital resource is available for generations to come. Our Zero Waste to Landfill policy stands as a testament to our commitment to waste reduction, with 100% of our solid waste being segregated and treated as per the norms, ensuring a reduce & reuse approach, recycling, composting & material recovery, further contributing to circular economy.
